4 Days Mid-Range Safari

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, heading northwest through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at a panoramic viewpoint.

Proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your mid-range lodge or tented camp. After check-in and a short rest, embark on an afternoon game drive.

Lake Nakuru is renowned for its rhino sanctuary, offering one of the best chances in Kenya to see both black and white rhinos. You will also encounter flamingos (seasonal), Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and possibly lions and leopards.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, driving through the beautiful landscapes of the Rift Valley and Maasai land.

Arrive at your camp/lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in the Maasai Mara.

The reserve is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of the most spectacular natural events on Earth.

Dinner and overnight at your camp/lodge.

Spend a full day exploring the vast plains of the Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives (or a full-day game drive with picnic lunch).

This day maximizes your chances of spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo). The open savannah provides excellent wildlife viewing and photography opportunities.

Optional activities (at extra cost):

• Hot air balloon safari followed by bush breakfast

Return to the lodge/camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, enjoy a short morning game drive (time permitting) as you exit the reserve.

Begin your journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Drop-off at your hotel or airport marks the end of your safari.
