4 – Day`s Rwanda Gorilla Dian Fossey trek

Arrive in Kigali where you will be met and briefed by your guide. Enjoy a short city tour (optional), including key cultural sites, before departing for Volcanoes National Park. The scenic drive takes you through Rwanda’s rolling hills, arriving in the afternoon for relaxation at your lodge.

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before embarking on your gorilla trekking adventure in Volcanoes National Park. The trek can take several hours depending on the location of the gorillas.

Once located, spend one unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Capture photos and learn about their behavior from experienced guides. Return to the lodge in the afternoon for relaxation.

After breakfast, choose between two unique experiences:

• Golden Monkey Tracking: Track the playful and endangered golden monkeys within the bamboo forests of Volcanoes National Park.
  OR
• Dian Fossey Trek: Hike to the historic Karisoke Research Center and visit the grave of Dian Fossey, learning about her remarkable contribution to gorilla conservation.

Return to the lodge for relaxation in the afternoon.

After breakfast, depart for Kigali. Depending on your flight schedule, you may enjoy optional shopping or a brief city visit before being transferred to the airport for your departure.
